“Managing serious offenders: Progress has been made towards establishing Scotland’s first ever Risk Management Authority (RMA) to improve the supervision and management of serious offenders. Justice Minister Cathy Jamieson announced the new, independent Authority will be based in Paisley. [. . .] Provisions to set up the RMA and the Order of Lifelong Restrictions were brought into force in the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2003.” Scot.Exec.
