“Youth drinking shock as police crack down: One in four teenagers in West Lothian stopped by police during a crackdown on anti-social behaviour and street crime were found to have been drinking. During the week-long operation, more than 400 teenagers were warned by police about their behaviour. Officers also revealed today they confiscated more than 110 bottles of spirits and beers, a large proportion of which was in the possession of under-age drinkers. . .” Edinburgh Evening News 24 Oct.
