The Centre for Corporate Responsibility is holding a major one day conference in Glasgow on October 23rd “which explores the adequacy of Scottish law and the Scottish criminal justice system in investigating, prosecuting and sentencing companies and individuals whose conduct results in death or injury. The conference will, in particular consider the law of homicide, the arrangements for the investigation of deaths, and the duties imposed upon directors and whether reforms in this area are necessary”.
