During First Minister’s Questions, concerns regarding the monitoring of people on the sex offenders register were discussed following the murder of a Polish student in Glasgow. Elish Angiolini was recommended by the First Minister as the first female Lord Advocate following Colin Boyd’s sudden resignation, and the Executive published the Custodial Sentences and Weapons (Scotland) Bill.
