Consultation on UN Committee on the Rights of the Child observations on Scotland launched

The Scottish Government consultation Improving the Lives of Children in Scotland - are we there yet?: Consultation on the Scottish Government’s response to the 2008 Concluding Observations from the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child was launched on December 18th and will close on March 2nd. There will be a series of events relating to the consultation details of which are included in the covering letter to the document.

There was a Scottish Government debate on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child held on Thursday 6th November, which appears to have gone unreported by the Scottish media.
