The Protection of Children and Prevention of Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2005 amends the Sexual Offences Act 2003 to allow Scottish courts to make a Sexual Offences Prevention Orders (SOPOs) on conviction, rather than on subsequent application by the police.
