Social work staffing statistics (2005)

The Scottish Executive has published the annual Staff of Scottish Local Authority Social Work Services, 2005 statistics.

This shows that in 2005 there were 1857 criminal justice social workers (i.e. working with the ‘offender’ client group), and that there were 1694 whole time equivalent posts (4% of wte social work posts).
